“I believe in heaven for all dogdom where my dog waits for my arrival waving his fan-like tail in friendship” (Pablo Neruda)

I have been a dog mom since the early age of eight. My whole life I have ensured that my doggies have the best possible lives.

My first doggie was Manchitas, a cute little Maltese. I grew up with him, and we spent fifteen happy years together. I still remember his adorable face and I often cry wishing I could hug him one more time. He was my best friend, my protector and my angel. My second doggie is Babi, another adorable rescue Maltese. With her love and wet kisses, she has helped me heal from the pain of losing Manchitas. Babi lives with my parents now, who are both retired and were feeling lonely. Babi makes both of them the happiest people in the world. They take her everywhere and spoil her like no other dog (she even has her own chair at home) . My current fur baby is Mia, a teacup Yorkie . She is the light of my life and I love her with all of my heart. She is my biggest motivation. I literally work hard so my dog can have a better life! The reason I have been a dog lover since I was a little girl is because dogs give their heart away totally for free and love us as we are – unconditionally. To me, doggies are FAMILY, and I love them dearly.

Since I was young, I have always looked to be around animals. I begged my mom for a dog for years until she finally gave in when I was 12. Her name was Gracie and she was my best friend. I learned so much from her and knew that taking care of animals was what I wanted to do. I started young by volunteering at the High Park Zoo before going to college for animal care. After graduating is when I found my niche; making dogs look, and feel, like a million bucks. My pride and joy is knowing that whatever dog steps foot on my table will be pampered and spoiled beyond belief. I sadly don’t have any dogs of my own right now but I do foster rescue dogs for a local rescue.
